Hereford & Worcester Animal Rescue Xmas Update

It has been a short while since our last update, but it has been no less busy than usual as we run up to Christmas.

A HUGE thank you to all the festive generosity we have received recently. We have received hampers and donations from many and we can not thank you all enough for the support, not just now but all year round. We wish everyone a very happy Christmas from HWAR.

Thank you too all the people who answered our call for dog walkers recently. The dogs are all very grateful and have been getting lots of exercise, thank you to all of you.

If you would like to help out through the festive period then please do get in touch or drop in at a time that suits you.

Dogs Re-homed

Hattie & Stella were an adorable pairing who found themselves needing a new home due to their owners change in circumstances. They caught the heart and minds of everyone they met from day one and fortunately for them they have found a new home ready for Christmas.

Stella & Hattie

Mika, just four months old is a sweet little Staffie who has found a fresh start in life just in time for Christmas. She has made wonderful progress in her foster home and ready for permanent home she has a long life ahead of her.

Mika

Bella found her way back to HWAR recently as things were not quite working out for her in her old home. A loveable girl with plenty of character she did not spend a long time in kennels before finding a new forever home.

Bella

Little Jazzie, the pint sized terrier found a lovely new home with recent new walkers. She enjoyed going out on walks so much with her new owners and their terrier that they decided to take Jazzie home.

Jazzie

Jimmy the Staffie happily found a new home quickly. Missing his owners and in some distress Jimmy did not enjoy kennel life and endured a miserable time in kennels so it is great news Jimmy was snapped up so quickly.

Jimmy

The loveable and playful Swift found her way into a new in no time at all. A real character, Swift can charm you around in no time with her antics and loving nature. Great with other dogs she enjoyed her time playing with other dogs at HWAR and now she has a long life ahead of her to enjoying doing what she likes most.

Sweet little Daisy the Pointer has finally found her forever home. Just two years old and had a tough little start but she now has a loving home to call her own and was re-homed through our foster network.

Daisy

Poppy was a darling of a girl that enjoyed the company of other dogs and affection of all the people she met. She was quite a sight to see whizzing around the playpen, acceleration in abundance not even our Buddy could keep up with her. She has happily found a new home.

A an all round beautiful dog Sophie caught the heart of her new family and finds her way into a new home for Christmas. She enjoyed a lovely time with her foster mum and now has a nice long life ahead of her.

Since our last update, Amber and Beau the last of the Lurcher litter found their new home as well as many others, there were just too many to list since the last update! We have also seen quite a few dogs go through re-home from home with others still waiting for their chance.

Dogs In and Needing Homes

Sally has only recently joined us this week from the stray kennels but she has quickly become adored by all at HWAR. A sweet girl with a good temperament she will make a wonderful addition to a new family.

Sally

Young Ben was handed in recently due to a change in circumstances, just eight months old he is an adorable, playful Collie who adores people and other dogs and has the potential to be a magnificent dog. You certainly won't be disappointed if you come and meet Ben.

Ben

Tiny Darcy was handed in to us very recently. She has had a rough start to life so far, passed around five homes and she is only nine months old. A very small Staffie but she makes up for it with character and is a fun loving girl who loves people and other dogs.

Darcy

Buster, a young Golden Labrador just one year old was recently in to HWAR for re-homing and has spent time in foster care. Predictably Buster has already seen a lot of interest and has been reserved for a new home so this chap will be in his new home very soon.

Buster

An elderly JRT, Lucky came to us through the stray pound recently. After an appeal we found out some of her background and realised that the infamous Simon Jones was at work again, please remain vigilant of this character. This poor girl is a bit bewildered with things but is finding her feet in her foster home awaiting a new forever home.
