Hereford and Worcester Animal Rescue Update

Rolling back through the last couple of weeks here is a list of the dogs we have re-homed recently. We have plenty of intakes also and the kennels are full of lovely dogs looking for their new homes.

The kennels are all full up at the moment, all the boys and girls would appreciate as much time out of their kennel as they can, if you can make it to HWAR to do some walking, we and the dogs would be hugely grateful.

Dogs Re-homed

Sweet little Dolly a 6 month old Lurcher joined her new home recently, understandably Dolly was very popular and had lots of admirers wanting to give her a home but she has now settled in her new home with a long life ahead of her.

Dolly

Chester had been waiting a short while to get his paws in a permanent home and found a home to call his own. A young Lurcher x Lab just 5-6 months old he has a bright future.

Fletcher has happily settled in his new home, a lovely older Labrador male at 7 years old, he is a superb all round dog and was gentleman whilst at HWAR, we are happy he is settled in a new home.

Pugsley, a young Pug x JRT was a nervous, but adorable little boy and did not enjoy kennel life so it is great news he has found a new home having spent some time in foster to come out of himself. He certainly seems to be enjoying his new life already.. see below!

Hereford & Worcester Animal Rescue Update

A happy new year to all and a big thank you for all of your support through 2014. HWAR provides the lifelines for those in need because of your support and we thank you greatly for allowing us to keep the show on the road.

The dogs all had a fantastic Xmas with bags of presents to open, most of them still have their goodies bags hanging by their kennels with some toys and treats left to get through so they have been thoroughly spoilt and are all the happier for it.

Check out our Vine channel to see some videos on Xmas day of the dogs getting stuck into their presents or view this Facebook album for pictures.

Dogs Re-homed

First to be re-homed from our last update was the gorgeous young Golden Lab, Buster. Just 12 months old he came in from the pound but did his time in a foster home before joining his new family. A handsome young dog with a bright future ahead of him.

Buster

The ever so sweet Sally was re-homed quickly after arriving from the stray kennels. A beautiful young girl with a temperament to match she will be adored in her new family.

Sally

Pint sized Staffie Darcy joined her new family after a short stay in kennels. This little girl has had a rough start to life so far but now she has a nice family life to look forward to.

Darcy

Sykes done his time with HWAR in foster care, a steady and friendly little boy who just wants to sit in your lap and he now has all the time in the world to do just that.

Sykes

Lucky, an elderly terrier came to us through the stray kennels having been found in Leominster. After failing to find her original home she was re-homed to start a new life where she can settle and enjoy her latter years.

Lucky

Our little diamond Daisy found her forever home after her visitors fell in love with her. Energetic, full of life and very affectionate she will make a great addition to her new family.

Daisy

Ben was a timid but friendly young Collie full of potential. After spending a surprising little while in kennels he has final found his new home. Only 9 months old Ben will be able to enjoy a fresh start and enjoy many years ahead of him.

Ben

The handsome and equally lovely little Max the Cavachon joined his new home recently. Naturally Max was very popular and had a long line of people waiting for him and this lucky little boy has found a nice home by the beach (when can I go?) to enjoy his new life.

Max

Little Sammy had to find a new home recently after tragic circumstances at her old family, but fortunately she has been able to find a home quickly. A sweet little girl she is settling into her new family well after a recent upheaval.

Sammy

Roxy the young Boxer did not have to wait long looking for a new home. A very friendly and sweet young girl she has settled in quickly at her new home and has great times ahead!

Dogs In & Needing Homes

Re-homed by us in the past, Ava has come back to HWAR after her owners circumstances changed. A fun loving and playful American Bulldog X Ava is a friendly girl who you can not fail to fall in love with. Always meets people with a smile and a waggy tail and just wants to pop on her sofa for a cuddle.

Ava

Rosie, a black Lab X has re-joined us at the HWAR kennels this week due to a change in family circumstances. Only a young girl still at 2 1/2 years old she has lots of time ahead of her. She is a very affectionate girl who enjoys company with humans but not so much with her K9 companions unfortunately so she will be homed as an only dog.

Rosie

Rocky, a 6 year old Rottweiler came to HWAR via the stray pound recently, despite this some of his history is known. Rocky is a friendly boy and full of character he has quickly made himself a favourite around the kennels. Check out Rocky's forum page for more info.

Rocky

The handsome Dennis, a GSD x Lurcher, is a very friendly boy who recently joined us from the stray kennels. Dennis enjoys plenty of attention, walks well and is just a likable and friendly dog who needs another chance at family life. Find out more about Dennis by viewing his forum page. Watch Dennis on our Vine channel loping around up the play pen.

Dennis

Chester a Lurcher x Lab has come into our care recently. Just 4 months old Chester is in foster care at present, here is what his foster Mum said about him 'he is a very good boy, quick learner, sits, lies down and is learning paw and wait before he has food. He doesn't pull on the lead, walks lovely. He can fetch and loves that game the most. He really deserves a lovely, lively home'

Chester

Winston, a 12 month old Spaniel, made his way to the kennels last weekend. Fortunately for Winston he went straight into a foster home and it looks like he will be staying there. He was in and out so fast we had not time to get a picture!

Be sure to check our Facebook and website for news of new dogs coming in as there are new dogs arriving at HWAR in the coming days.
